Terms & conditions

These terms govern your use of the PCO Academy website and courses. By creating an account or buying a course, you agree to them.

Last updated 14 September 2026

1. Who we are

PCO Academy (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an independent online training provider that prepares London private hire and taxi drivers for the TfL assessment. You can reach us at pcoacademylondon@gmail.com.

2. Your account

You need an account to buy and take our courses. You must give accurate details, keep your login secure, and not share your account. You are responsible for everything done under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, as our courses are for licensed or licence-seeking drivers.

3. Course access

When you enrol on a course we grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to access its content for your own preparation. Access is for one person — you may not resell, share, record, or redistribute the material. We may set a time window on access, which is shown at the point of purchase.

4. Payment & pricing

Prices are shown on the site and may change, but a change never affects a purchase you have already made. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we do not store your full card details. You agree to pay the price shown at checkout.

5. Refunds & guarantee

Refunds and our pass promise are covered on the Refunds & guarantee page, which forms part of these terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • copy, scrape, or republish our questions, explanations or other content;
  • attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service;
  • use the service for anything unlawful, or in a way that harms other users.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

7. Intellectual property

All course material, questions, text, design and branding on this site belong to PCO Academy or our licensors and are protected by law. Your licence to use them is limited to your own personal study.

8. No affiliation with TfL; no guarantee of results

We are an independent provider and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of Transport for London. We reference “TfL” only to describe the assessment we help you prepare for. Our courses are designed to prepare you well, but we cannot and do not guarantee that you will pass — the result depends on the official assessment and on you.

9. Availability & changes

We work to keep the service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, improve, or withdraw parts of the service, and we may update course content to reflect changes in the rules.

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the course in question. We provide preparation material, not licensing or legal advice — always check the official TfL requirements for your own situation.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when. Your continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
